Shri. Subba Rao Pampana is a visionary entrepreneur, educationalist, and social reformer with a distinguished career spanning business leadership, education, and social service. With academic qualifications in Commerce, Law, and an MBA, he brings a multidimensional perspective to institution building and societal development.

As the Chancellor of Himalayan University, he is committed to shaping the University into a world-class center of higher education that fosters research, innovation, and skill-based learning. His vision emphasizes academic excellence, global collaborations, student entrepreneurship, sustainable practices, and career-ready education.

A pioneer in the renewable energy sector, Mr. Pampana has spearheaded landmark projects including a 5 MW hydropower plant, over 500 MW of wind energy, and 1 GW of solar power capacity in India and abroad. As the head of the SSEV Group, his leadership extends across diverse industries such as renewable energy, infrastructure, electric mobility, artificial intelligence, information technology, pharmaceuticals, and organic farming. He has also expanded his global footprint through companies in Singapore and the Philippines, focusing on solar power and electric vehicle manufacturing.

Beyond business and education, Mr. Pampana is deeply committed to service and sustainability. He serves as Honorary Treasurer of Blue Cross Hyderabad, working for animal welfare and environmental conservation, and as President of Boudha Nagar Sai Sannidhanam Trust, supporting spiritual, cultural, and social development initiatives. Passionate about organic farming and eco-conscious living, he believes education is the foundation of social transformation.
